# TradingView real cost calculator

What a TradingView plan costs per year once the exchange data it does not include is added — by plan, billing, status and the markets you trade.

**Answer:** A TradingView subscription is the plan plus the exchange data, billed separately. US stocks are real-time from Cboe for free on every plan; the listing exchanges' own prints are a 9.95 dollar bundle, and every other market is delayed until its package is bought, from 2 to 19.95 dollars a month for a non-professional. Monthly billing adds 24 to 480 dollars a year to the plan. The calculator adds the two up for your markets.

The calculator itself is interactive at https://stockmarketstack.com/calculators/tradingview-real-cost. These are the rates it multiplies, each with the document it was read from:

## What it computes

The plan's monthly price for the billing period you choose, plus the monthly price of each
real-time package you tick for your status, as one figure per month and per year, with the plan's
share of the total. The default is Essential billed yearly with the US stocks bundle, which is the
first purchase most retail subscribers make after the trial.

## Where the numbers come from

Plan prices are the per-month figures the pricing page leads with, which are billed yearly; the
monthly-billing price is that figure plus the saving the same page states per year, divided by
twelve. Data packages are the non-professional prices on the data coverage page, read on the date
below. Professional rates are carried only where this site's
[TradingView card](https://stockmarketstack.com/tools/tradingview) records one. The twin of this page prints every figure
with its source.

## What it leaves out

- **Exchanges not on the list.** The coverage page prices dozens of venues; this page carries the
US bundle and its four components, CME and Eurex, and six European packages. A market not listed
is not free, it is not modelled.
- **Professional rates for most packages.** Where the toggle leaves a package out, the line says so.
- **Taxes and currency.** Prices are USD before any sales tax or VAT the checkout adds.
- **A broker entitlement.** If a connected broker already licenses a feed for you, TradingView may
not bill it again; the calculator cannot know that.
- **The product itself.** Whether the plan is the right one — charts per tab, indicators, alerts,
bars of history — is on the [TradingView card](https://stockmarketstack.com/tools/tradingview) and in
[what to use instead of TradingView](https://stockmarketstack.com/alternatives/tradingview).

## FAQ

### Is real-time data included in a TradingView plan?

Not for most exchanges. US stocks are real-time on every plan including Basic, but from Cboe One, which the coverage page labels limited real-time; the NYSE and Nasdaq bundle is 9.95 dollars a month on top for a non-professional. CME futures, Eurex and every European stock exchange are delayed until that exchange's package is bought.

### How much more does monthly billing cost?

The pricing page states it as a saving on the yearly plan, 24 dollars a year on Essential, 60 on Plus, 120 on Premium and 480 on Ultimate. The calculator adds that saving back, over twelve, when you pick monthly billing; it is the page's own arithmetic.

### Why does the professional toggle leave some packages out?

Because TradingView publishes professional rates per exchange and only some are recorded on this site's TradingView card, Euronext at 135 dollars, Xetra at 101, LSE at 64. For the rest the calculator says the rate is not modelled rather than guessing. The professional test is the exchange's, and failing it is what makes the data, not the plan, the larger line.

### Can I avoid paying for data twice if my broker already gives it to me?

Sometimes. TradingView lets a connected broker's entitlement be verified for some exchanges, so a feed you already pay the broker for is not billed again. The order panel still shows the broker's quotes, which may be delayed even where TradingView's chart is not.
