# CrossTrade vs TradersPost vs PickMyTrade: a machine, an account or a login

Three relays from a TradingView alert to a futures account, each billed by a different unit. The platform your accounts sit on decides first, then the count.

The three cards above are one machine with three price tags. A rule you wrote elsewhere, almost
always a TradingView strategy or alert, fires a webhook, and the service turns it into an order in
a futures account, very often a prop firm's. None of the three writes, backtests or improves the
rule, and all three say so. The delay that matters, TradingView's own, is the same whichever one
receives the alert. [TradersPost against SignalStack](https://stockmarketstack.com/compare/traderspost-vs-signalstack) covers
that delay and the stock-broker side of TradersPost.

What separates them is the unit each one bills. [CrossTrade](https://stockmarketstack.com/tools/crosstrade) bills a machine,
[TradersPost](https://stockmarketstack.com/tools/traderspost) a live account in an asset class, and
[PickMyTrade](https://stockmarketstack.com/tools/pickmytrade) a broker login. A prop trader's setup is several accounts, often at
several firms on two or three platforms, so the same setup produces three very different bills.
Before the bill, though, comes the platform, and that rules options out.

## Which platform your accounts sit on

Each relay reaches a different set of futures platforms, and the cheapest relay is no use if it
cannot reach yours.

- **Tradovate** is the one platform all three reach. TradersPost's connections page, read on
24 October 2026, routes 27 of its 29 listed prop firms through Tradovate, and its NinjaTrader
connection runs on the same Tradovate integration with a NinjaTrader username and password.
- **NinjaTrader 8 on the desktop** is CrossTrade's home. Its add-on runs inside NT8 and executes
whatever connection NT8 has, Rithmic included. TradersPost does not drive the desktop platform at
all, and PickMyTrade does not route through it.
- **Rithmic without NinjaTrader** is PickMyTrade's. Its setup guide has you enter the Rithmic
username and password in PickMyTrade itself, so nothing has to run on your machine. Rithmic,
like every broker but Tradovate, lives on pickmytrade.io, a separate platform with its own
account and subscription from the Tradovate one at pickmytrade.trade. TradersPost lists no
  Rithmic connection.
- **ProjectX** firms, which on TradersPost's list are Topstep and The Futures Desk, are reachable from
TradersPost and PickMyTrade. CrossTrade routes only to NinjaTrader 8 and Tradovate.
- **Stocks and options** mean TradersPost, with sixteen broker connections, or PickMyTrade through
Interactive Brokers, TradeStation or Tradier. CrossTrade is futures only.

## Count your accounts and your logins separately

Once the platform leaves more than one candidate, the price depends on two numbers, which most
traders blur into one: how many accounts, and how many broker logins hold them.

- **CrossTrade** says every plan covers unlimited accounts and unlimited alerts. Standard at $29 a
month places one alert on several accounts at once from a comma list in the message,
`account=sim101,sim102,sim103`, each account getting its own order. On Tradovate, its docs say
each login, personal or firm-issued, is linked separately, and one list can name accounts under
several of them. Different sizing, position locks and loss limits per account are the Account
Manager and Trade Copier on Pro at $49.
- **TradersPost** Starter at $49 is one live account in one asset class, and each further live
account is $10 a month on any plan. Futures counts as one class.
- **PickMyTrade** is $50 a month for unlimited trades and sub-accounts under one broker login, with
size set per account. Its pricing page says a different broker or prop-firm login is a separate
  subscription.

Three setups, all futures, at the monthly price:

- **Five accounts under one Tradovate login.** PickMyTrade $50; CrossTrade $29, or $49 for different
sizes per account; TradersPost $49 plus four extra accounts, $89.
- **Five accounts at five prop firms, each with its own Tradovate login.** TradersPost stays at
$89, because it counts accounts, not logins. PickMyTrade becomes five subscriptions, $250.
CrossTrade does not change: its pricing page promises "$0 per-account fees" and says scaling up
never raises the bill. One caveat from its docs: a copier between accounts under two different
logins is still "under validation", so for per-account sizing across firms, test on demo first.
- **Three Rithmic-cleared accounts at three firms.** TradersPost is out. PickMyTrade is three logins,
$150, with nothing running at home. On CrossTrade the price turns into a question of machines.
CrossTrade's FAQ says NinjaTrader 8 allows one Rithmic connection per instance, so three Rithmic
logins means three NT8 installations. Its Trade Copier works inside one installation. Signal Share,
which carries your trades from one installation to the others, needs Elite at $99 on the
broadcasting one. Each other installation signs in with its own CrossTrade login, and the pricing
page says receiving "works on every plan" without saying whether a receiving installation needs a
paid plan of its own. Ask before you count it as $99. The VPS or PC that keeps three copies of NT8
  running is a separate cost.

Annual billing changes the figures but not the order: $279, $469 and $949 a year on CrossTrade,
$135 a quarter or $500 a year on PickMyTrade, and 15% off on TradersPost. CrossTrade's pricing page still carried a "July 4th
Sale" banner for 25% off annual plans when read on 24 October, so check the price at checkout.

## What the order looks like when it arrives

The relays also differ in what they send, and that difference does not show up in the price.

- **PickMyTrade** sends strategy signals to Tradovate as market orders. Its documentation defends the
choice: an unfilled limit would leave the strategy and the account disagreeing about the position.
The cost is slippage on every automated entry and exit.
- **CrossTrade** can keep a TradingView strategy in sync by position state rather than by single
alerts, so a dropped message is corrected rather than left open.
- **TradersPost** places market or limit orders as your subscription settings say. It never retries a
failed order, and an order the broker accepts and later rejects may produce no failure email.

All three offer seven days to try first, which is the only evaluation you get. CrossTrade and
PickMyTrade refund nothing once you have paid, and TradersPost's pricing page has no refund clause.
PickMyTrade's trial needs no card. TradersPost's account is disabled when its trial ends until you
pay; CrossTrade's drops to a Free plan that keeps the journal and routes nothing.

## The recommendation

**Start with where the accounts are.** A ProjectX firm such as Topstep rules out CrossTrade. Rithmic
rules out TradersPost. Stocks or options in the same strategy rule out CrossTrade and point to
TradersPost, or to PickMyTrade at Interactive Brokers, TradeStation or Tradier.

**On Tradovate, count logins.** With one login, or all your accounts at one firm, **PickMyTrade** at
$50 or **CrossTrade** at $29 to $49 costs less than TradersPost. The moment your accounts sit under
several logins, PickMyTrade's price multiplies and CrossTrade's does not, so **CrossTrade** is
cheaper for anyone spread across firms. It is also the only one of the three that comes with per-account
loss limits and a journal.

**On Rithmic, decide whether you want NinjaTrader running.** If you already trade in NT8,
**CrossTrade** executes there and adds nothing to install. If you would rather nothing ran at home,
**PickMyTrade** at $50 a login is the route, and it stays the cheaper one for as long as your Rithmic
logins are few.

**Pick TradersPost** when the strategy reaches beyond futures, or when your broker is one that only
it connects. The rest of the category is on the
[no-code strategy builders](https://stockmarketstack.com/categories/no-code-strategy-builders) page, and
[sending TradingView alerts to a broker](https://stockmarketstack.com/how-to/send-tradingview-alerts-to-a-broker) covers the
message format and what goes wrong in it.

## FAQ

### Which is cheapest for several prop-firm accounts?

It depends on how the accounts are grouped. Five accounts under one broker login cost $50 a month on PickMyTrade, $89 on TradersPost (Starter plus four $10 accounts) and $29 or $49 on CrossTrade. Spread the same five across five prop-firm logins on Tradovate and PickMyTrade becomes $250, because each login is its own subscription, while TradersPost stays at $89 and CrossTrade's price does not move.

### Can I use TradersPost with Rithmic or NinjaTrader 8?

No. TradersPost's connections page lists no Rithmic connection, and its NinjaTrader documentation says that integration runs on its Tradovate integration with your NinjaTrader username and password, not through the NinjaTrader 8 desktop platform. For a Rithmic-cleared account the choice is CrossTrade inside NinjaTrader 8 or PickMyTrade's own Rithmic connection.

### Do I need my computer running?

For CrossTrade on NinjaTrader 8, yes, because its add-on executes inside NT8 on your PC or a VPS. CrossTrade's Tradovate route, PickMyTrade's Tradovate, Rithmic and ProjectX routes, and TradersPost run in the vendor's cloud. PickMyTrade's Interactive Brokers route needs TWS or IB Gateway logged in somewhere.

### Which works with Topstep?

TradersPost and PickMyTrade. TradersPost lists Topstep and The Futures Desk as connecting through ProjectX, and PickMyTrade lists both ProjectX and Topstep. CrossTrade routes only to NinjaTrader 8 and Tradovate, so a ProjectX account has no route there.
