## What it is

Chartlog is a browser-based journal for US day traders: import your executions, get them grouped
into positions on a calendar, annotate them, and read the analytics back as reports. The charting
is better than the price suggests — trades drawn with entries and exits marked, drawing tools,
indicators, pre/post-market bars — and MFE/MAE excursion is on the cheapest plan rather than held
back. It is also the narrowest product in this category, deliberately: US stocks and US equity
options, nothing else, and an integration list built for the direct-access crowd around DAS Trader
Pro rather than for a general portfolio.

## Pricing

Three plans, no free tier, a 7-day trial that does not ask for a card. Lite is $14.99/month,
Standard $29.99, Pro $39.99; annual billing takes 10/15/20 percent off, so $13.49, $25.49 and
$31.99 a month. Unlimited trades and unlimited accounts on all three — the tiers buy analysis, not
capacity. Lite is journal and charts only; Standard unlocks strategy tracking and seven reports;
Pro adds ten more, including sector, market cap and option spread, plus custom dashboards and
custom reports. None of the three numbers has moved since at least July 2022.

## Data & coverage

Instruments are US stocks and US equity options and nothing else: every one of the 21 live
integrations is labelled either "Stocks" or "Stocks, Options". Charts ship on every tier — the
plan comparison lists dynamic charts, drawing tools, indicators and pre/post-market data on Lite
as well as on Pro — and the vendor offers 15+ years of history behind them. It also claims
real-time data from all 16 US exchanges, but that sentence sits on a product page the sitemap has
not touched since December 2020, no currently maintained page repeats it, and it cannot be tested
without an account. This card therefore does not record Chartlog as a real-time source.

## Integrations

Twenty-one brokers and platforms are live; another 110, Schwab and Robinhood among them, are
marked "Coming Soon" on a page last modified in March 2022. Only four of the 21 are automatic:
TD Ameritrade, and PropReports-driven feeds for CMEG, CenterPoint and Great Point Capital — three
prop-broker back offices and one brokerage Schwab finished retiring in May 2024. The help centre
documents a fifth PropReports feed, Guardian Trading, that the integrations page never picked up.
A downloadable Windows importer watches DAS Trader Pro's debug log and uploads fills as they
happen, though the setup file is still version 1.1.13, dated February 2021. Everything else —
Interactive Brokers, Webull, TradeStation, thinkorswim, tastyworks, E*TRADE, Lightspeed — is a
file you export and upload. An unlisted broker can still be journalled, but not by dropping its
CSV into the app: you first run the export through a separate Windows x64 conversion utility,
itself last published in October 2021, which rewrites .csv, .xlsx or .txt into Chartlog's format.

## Limitations

- No futures, forex, crypto or non-US equities. That is what decides it for most people.
- TD Ameritrade is the only automatic sync a retail trader could use, and Schwab converted the
  last of those accounts in May 2024. Treat Chartlog as a file-upload journal.
- No API, no webhooks, no mobile app, and no documented way to export your journal back out.
- The help centre is served over a certificate that does not cover its hostname, so browsers
  refuse it without an override.
- Maintenance evidence is weak. The newest lastmod in the sitemap is July 2022 and 109 of its 140
  URLs are dated 13 December 2020; the terms were last revised on 1 January 2020 and still set out
  a "Chartlog Pro" plan at $29.99 a month that the pricing page has not sold since 2022; the
  pricing page footer reads "Copyright © 2020 Chartog, Inc.", misspelling the company (the
  homepage footer is generated and does say 2026); and both import utilities were last published
  in 2021.

## FAQ

### Does Chartlog have a free plan?

No. There is a 7-day free trial that does not ask for a card, and after that the cheapest plan is Lite at $14.99 a month. Every plan takes unlimited trades from unlimited accounts, so the tiers differ only in how much analysis you get.

### Which instruments can Chartlog journal?

US stocks and US equity options, and nothing else. There is no futures, forex, crypto or non-US equity support at any tier, and no integration on the list handles them.

### Is Chartlog still being developed?

It is still sold and the app still runs, but the evidence of active work is thin. The newest lastmod in the sitemap is July 2022, the terms were last revised in January 2020, the three prices have not moved since at least July 2022, both downloadable import utilities date from 2021, and the only automatic retail broker sync it advertises is TD Ameritrade, whose accounts Schwab finished moving in May 2024.

### Can Chartlog import from my broker automatically?

Probably not. The integrations page marks four of the 21 as automatic — TD Ameritrade, plus PropReports feeds for the prop brokers CMEG, CenterPoint and Great Point Capital — and TD Ameritrade no longer exists; the help centre documents a fifth PropReports feed, Guardian Trading, that never reached the page. Everything else, Interactive Brokers and Webull included, is a file you export and upload yourself, and an unlisted broker goes through a Windows-only conversion utility first.
