# Eulerpool Financial Data API

Global fundamentals, prices, ownership and macro behind one key, with a hosted MCP server.

**Best for:** developers who want statements, estimates, 13F and macro series for global equities behind one key and a free non-commercial quota; not for anyone who needs a documented price source or exchange licence.

## What it is

The developer product of Eulerpool, which also runs a free website of stock pages; this card is
the API. One key opens a REST surface over equity prices and
statements, analyst estimates, insider trades in the US and Europe, 13F holdings, ETF and
mutual-fund holdings, options chains, bonds, FX, crypto, commodities and macro series re-served
from FRED, the ECB, the IMF, the World Bank, Eurostat, the OECD and the BIS. Securities take a
ticker or an ISIN, which is what makes the European half usable.

The shape is breadth. The published OpenAPI spec held 447 paths on 7 October 2026, across tags
running from fundamentals to vessel tracking, NFT floor prices and Singapore's company registry,
plus server-side backtest, portfolio-risk and technical-indicator endpoints. Everything returns
JSON.

## Pricing

Five tiers, priced in dollars, with the paid ones shown annual-first. The free key gives 100,000
requests a month for non-commercial use with a "Data by Eulerpool" credit, end-of-day data and
delayed quotes. Builder at $99 a month ($990 a year) moves to real-time and commercial use with
a million requests. Filings and earnings-call transcripts start at Startup, $4,990 a year;
Scale is $19,900 a year with no request cap. Annual billing is sold as two months free, but the
pricing page prints only annual figures; the licensing page gives Startup and Scale together as
"$499–$1,999/mo", which does not divide cleanly into either. Enterprise adds point-in-time data
and the model-training licence.

The general terms are those of Eulerpool Research Systems Pte. Ltd. under Singapore law: cancel
at any time, effective at the end of the billing period, with no refunds for partial periods.

## Data & coverage

The vendor's own counts do not agree with each other. The API page claims 100,000+ securities on
90+ exchanges and 100+ years of history; the pricing page claims 85,000+ stocks in 130 countries;
the site's own `llms.txt` says 100,000+ companies and 50+ years; the MCP manifest says 42,000+
listed companies. Endpoint counts run 363+, 375+ and 418 against the spec's 447. Test your own
universe rather than any headline number.

Some sources are named in the endpoint descriptions: Form 4 is parsed from EDGAR, 13F holdings
come from SEC filings, crypto candles from Binance. The equity price feed's source is not named
on any page we read. The daily stock-candle endpoint says its open, high and low are
"approximated from daily quotes", and neither candle endpoint states whether bars are adjusted
for splits.

## Integrations

Official SDKs for Python (`pip install eulerpool`), TypeScript (`npm install eulerpool`), Go,
Java, Rust, PHP, C++ and R, all MIT-licensed under the vendor's own GitHub organisation; the
Python and npm packages are published by Eulerpool's addresses, so the obvious names are the
right ones. Most of those repositories were created between 22 August and 13 September 2026.
Spreadsheets get an Excel add-in whose functions, such as `EP.PRICE`, are served from the API,
and a Google Sheets version installed by pasting an Apps Script file — not a Marketplace listing.

The MCP server is hosted, with an OAuth endpoint for chat connectors and a bearer-token endpoint
for coding clients, and its tool count is 157+ on the vendor's MCP page and 250+ in its README.
Real-time ticks stream over server-sent events, with a WebSocket recommended for production.
There are no webhooks.

## Limitations

- **No named price source and no word on exchange licensing.** Real-time US quotes, NBBO where
available, are sold from $99 a month with no mention of exchange agreements or professional
and non-professional fees. Ask before you show those quotes to anyone.
- **The licensing pages are inconsistent.** The pricing page calls the free tier non-commercial;
the licensing page's plan list sets commercial products and raw-data redistribution under the
free heading, and puts caching on different tiers in its list and its FAQ. Get the use you
  need confirmed in writing.
- **A young developer surface.** The SDK repositories, the npm package and every PyPI release
date from August and September 2026.
- **No accuracy warranty.** The terms say financial data "may contain errors, omissions, or
delays" and disclaim all of it.

## Alternatives

[EODHD](https://stockmarketstack.com/tools/eodhd) is the closest match in breadth and price, with a longer public record.
[Financial Modeling Prep](https://stockmarketstack.com/tools/financial-modeling-prep) carries transcripts on a plan priced
by the month. [Financial Datasets](https://stockmarketstack.com/tools/financial-datasets) is the narrower US-only, MCP-first
option with every figure traced to EDGAR, and [ROIC.ai](https://stockmarketstack.com/tools/roic-ai) is the cheaper key for
fundamentals alone. The rest are in [market data APIs](https://stockmarketstack.com/categories/market-data-apis).

## FAQ

### What does the Eulerpool free tier include?

100,000 requests a month with a hard stop and no overage, on a key that needs no card. It is licensed for non-commercial use, carries end-of-day data and delayed quotes only, and requires a "Data by Eulerpool" credit wherever the data is shown publicly. Filings and earnings-call transcripts are not on it, and they are not on the $99 Builder plan either.

### Is the Eulerpool MCP server first-party, and is it free?

Yes on both. Eulerpool hosts it at two addresses — one that signs in over OAuth for Claude.ai and ChatGPT connectors, one that takes the API key as a bearer token for Cursor, Claude Code and other clients. An unauthenticated initialize call to the bearer endpoint answered 401 on 7 October 2026. The vendor says MCP tool calls count against the same monthly request quota as REST.

### Can I build a commercial product on the free key?

No. The pricing page lists the free tier as non-commercial, and the licensing FAQ says showing API data to your end users inside a product is what the paid plans are for. Builder is the first plan with commercial use and no attribution requirement.

### Can I train a model on Eulerpool data?

Only under an Enterprise agreement. The licensing page allows retrieval-style use, an agent querying the API or MCP server at run time, on any paid plan within its quota, and reserves training for the Enterprise AI and LLM licence.
