## What it is

Exocharts is an order-flow charting platform — footprint clusters, volume and delta profiles,
TPO, DOM and tape — sold as a desktop application for Windows and Apple Silicon Macs plus a
lighter web app on the same account. The desktop build processes trades locally, which is what
pays for the DOM, the tape, replay and the non-time candle types; the web version receives data
already aggregated by the vendor's servers and has none of them.

The data comes in two halves, and the split is the thing to understand before paying. Crypto is
native: Exocharts runs its own ticker plants against Binance, Bybit, BitMEX, OKX, Bitget,
Hyperliquid and Coinbase, with up to six years of tick-by-tick history, open interest and
liquidations included. Futures and US equities are not — they arrive over a dxFeed connection, or
since version 3.7.0 a Rithmic one, that the reader buys separately.

## Pricing

Three plans, billed in euros plus VAT of the payer's country by a Lithuanian company. Desktop Pro
is 49 EUR a month, 43 on a three-month term and 38 on six. Web Premium is 28, 25 and 23 on the
same terms. The free Trial needs no registration and is a permanent limited mode rather than a
countdown — about seventy altcoin pairs on three underlyings in the desktop app, one candle type
on the web. The vendor's own pricing page contradicts itself on the three-month desktop figure:
the plan card says 43 EUR, the FAQ below it still says 46.

One row in that table decides everything. The dxFeed connector is marked off on the free Trial
and off on Web Premium, and on only for Desktop Pro — so every legacy market on this platform is
behind the top plan. And the data itself is extra: the help centre states that dxFeed data is
not included in any plan, that it is ordered from dxFeed directly through a provisioning link
specific to Exocharts, and that the subscription covers the software alone. Budget two invoices.

Refunds run seven days from the initial purchase only, minus taxes and a processing fee of up to
ten per cent. Auto-renewals are not refundable.

## Data & coverage

Through dxFeed the desktop app reaches CME, CBOT, COMEX, NYMEX, Eurex and Nasdaq — futures, US
stocks and ETFs on the same charts and the same tooling as crypto, with the instrument selector
grouping symbols by market and each group carrying its own connection. Rithmic is the alternative
route to CME Group futures, and version 3.7.0 added CME and Nasdaq extended-hours session presets.
History on the legacy side is two years tick-by-tick against six on crypto.

The vendor is inconsistent about which venues dxFeed covers: the plan cards say CME, NASDAQ and
EUREX, the marketing FAQ adds NYMEX, and the maintained help article lists all six above — prefer
the help centre, which is the page the vendor keeps current.

## Integrations

There is no public API, no scripting language, no webhook and no add-on marketplace — every
mention of an API here is an exchange key you paste in to trade, or a roadmap phase. Execution is
Bybit only, for spot, linear and inverse contracts, from the chart, DOM or order form. Rithmic
order routing is written but switched off until the conformance process completes. Bar statistics
export to `.xlsx` on both platforms, and that is the extent of getting data out. The current build
is v3.7.0, released 4 June 2026, with fifty-five help articles revised in the week to 8 September
2026.

## Limitations

- Legacy market data is a second subscription from dxFeed or Rithmic, not included at any tier.
- dxFeed and Rithmic are desktop-only. The browser app is crypto and nothing else.
- No screener, no scanner, no backtester, no alerts, no news.
- Order entry is Bybit crypto. No stock or futures execution, despite the futures charting.
- Intel Macs are not supported at all; Windows wants a discrete card with 4 GB of VRAM.
- The marketing FAQ still says trading is unavailable, which the help centre contradicts.
- `exocharts.com/docs` is an empty page marked under construction; the manual is elsewhere.

## FAQ

### Is Exocharts a crypto-only platform?

No, but crypto is the half that comes with data. The desktop application charts CME, CBOT, COMEX, NYMEX, Eurex and Nasdaq through dxFeed, and CME Group futures through Rithmic, with the same footprint and DOM tools it uses on crypto. The web app is crypto-only.

### Is dxFeed data included in an Exocharts subscription?

No. The vendor states plainly that dxFeed data is not included in any plan and that legacy market data requires a separate dxFeed account bought directly from dxFeed. The Exocharts fee covers the software only.

### Which plan do I need to chart CME or Nasdaq?

Desktop Pro, 49 EUR/month. The dxFeed connector is marked unavailable on both the free Trial and the 28 EUR Web Premium plan, and dxFeed data does not work at all in the free version or in the browser.

### Can I place orders from Exocharts?

Only on Bybit, for spot, linear and inverse contracts, from the desktop application. Rithmic order routing is built but disabled pending the conformance and provisioning process, which the vendor expected to finish in autumn 2026. There is no stock or futures execution.

### Does Exocharts run on an Intel Mac?

No. The desktop build requires Apple Silicon, an M1 or newer, on macOS Monterey 12.1 or later, and the vendor states that Intel-based Macs are not supported. The Windows build wants 64-bit Windows 10 or 11 and a discrete GPU with 4 GB of VRAM.
