# Godel Terminal

A browser terminal with Bloomberg-style commands, real-time US quotes and SEC filings.

**Best for:** analysts and active investors who want Bloomberg-style company research and live US quotes for about $1,000 a year; not for anyone who needs an API, a deep screener or a mobile app.

## What it is

Godel Terminal is a research terminal in a browser tab that borrows Bloomberg's grammar: type
`NVDA US EQ FA` and a window opens on Nvidia's standardised income statement, balance sheet and
cash flow. The commands that carry the product are company research — DES for the overview, FA
for financials, ERN and EM for consensus estimates against actuals, ANR for sell-side ratings and
price targets, CF for SEC filings rendered in-app, HDS for holders and 13F, TRAN for searchable
earnings-call transcripts. Around them sit the live windows a trader keeps open: QM watchlists of
up to 400 tickers, TAS time and sales, OMON option chains with greeks, and an N news feed that
pops a banner on market-moving headlines.

It is sold as the daily equity workflow without the five-figure seat. The publisher is DL
Software Inc of Delaware. Brokerage links are read-only and nothing is executed from it.

## Pricing

One individual plan: $118 a month, or $996 a year paid up front, which the page labels "starting
at" and puts at roughly $83 a month. FINRA-registered users pay $30 a month more on either
billing — $148 a month, or $996 plus $360 a year — passed through, the vendor says, from Nasdaq's
professional-subscriber fee. Every plan opens with a 14-day trial; two or more seats are quoted
through an ORG plan.

Three things the pricing page does not say. Hourly and minute bars in the HP history window need
an add-on entitlement bought inside the app, priced in its ENT window and not published. The
command docs describe anonymous and free accounts the pricing page never mentions. And the AUM
docs refer to a discount for users with over $5,000 in linked brokerage accounts and a trade in
the past month, without stating its size.

## Data & coverage

Real-time: US stocks and ETFs on Nasdaq, NYSE, NYSE American, Cboe BZX, OTC Markets and Blue
Ocean's overnight session; OPRA options; CME, CBOT, NYMEX and COMEX futures; FX; crypto.
Equities on about twenty other exchanges, from the TSX and LSE to Tokyo and the NSE, are 15
minutes delayed, with Korea Exchange the one real-time exception; foreign indices run 25 minutes
behind. The vendor describes its US feed two ways — "real-time Nasdaq quotes" on the pricing
page, every US venue on the coverage page — and names neither the feed nor the source of its
standardised financials. Filings arrive from EDGAR as they post; transcripts the next day. FA,
ERN and ANR cover individual equities only.

## Integrations

FA and HP export to Excel or JSON, and the screener exports CSV or JSON. BROK links fourteen
brokerages through SnapTrade — Schwab, Fidelity, Interactive Brokers, Robinhood, tastytrade,
Webull among them — read-only, and only on a paid account. Charts in the G window are
TradingView's charting library, so the indicators and drawing tools are TradingView's. Alerts are
one-shot price, volume or change thresholds delivered as browser notifications.

## Limitations

- No API for an individual at any price, no spreadsheet add-in, and the terms forbid
systematically pulling data to build a database.
- The EQS screener is in beta and filters on market cap, trailing and forward valuation
multiples, forward EPS and revenue, venue, country and sector — no growth, margin or technical
  fields.
- Portfolio analytics, index membership, ETF and mutual fund data are on the vendor's own
"working on" list, not in the product.
- Browser only; there is no iOS, Android or desktop app.
- History depth for financials and estimates is not published.
- Per-command FAQs say every feature is on every plan, including ones the same page's notes
restrict to paid accounts. Read the notes.

## Alternatives

[Koyfin](https://stockmarketstack.com/tools/koyfin) covers more global fundamentals and macro for less, without real-time
quotes outside North America. [TIKR](https://stockmarketstack.com/tools/tikr) and [Fiscal.ai](https://stockmarketstack.com/tools/fiscal-ai) are fundamentals
terminals with free plans and cheaper entry tiers, but delayed prices and no live market windows.
If the job is charts and live scanning rather than company research, [TradingView](https://stockmarketstack.com/tools/tradingview)
is the more complete charting product — Godel's own charts are its library.

## FAQ

### How much does Godel Terminal cost?

$118 a month, or $996 a year paid up front, which works out to about $83 a month. FINRA-registered users pay a $30 monthly surcharge on either plan, which the vendor says covers Nasdaq's professional-subscriber fee. Teams of two or more are quoted.

### Is Godel Terminal free?

The pricing page lists no free plan, only a 14-day trial. The command documentation does describe anonymous and free accounts, with bid and ask hidden in the quote monitor, two news windows per screen, and no direct messages, broker link or add-on feeds. What else a free account can open is not documented.

### Does Godel Terminal have an API?

Not for individuals. The pricing page says an API is coming and offers a waitlist, while the documentation says REST and WebSocket access is given to enterprise customers case by case. There is no spreadsheet add-in either.

### Is Godel Terminal data real-time outside the US?

Mostly not. Its coverage page lists US equities, OPRA options, CME Group futures, FX and crypto as real-time, Korea Exchange as real-time, and every other equity exchange it covers as 15 minutes delayed. Foreign indices are 25 minutes delayed.
