# Greenwick Journal

An offline browser trade journal bought once, fed by your broker's CSV or Excel export.

**Best for:** stock day traders who export a file from one broker and want setup, hour and share-price reports on one computer with nothing uploaded; not for anyone wanting broker sync, cloud backup, a phone app or a free trial.

## What it is

A trading journal that runs as a local web page: you download a ZIP, extract it and open the file
in Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari, on Windows, macOS or Linux. There is no account, no server and
nothing uploaded. You import a CSV or Excel export from your broker, or add trades by hand, and the
journal builds the reports: net P&L, drawdown, win rate, expectancy, profit factor, average win and
loss, fees, R multiples from a planned stop, and results by setup, hour, weekday and share price.

Around the numbers sits the review loop that version 2, released in October 2026, filled in: a
daily journal page with a plan, watchlist and recap, a Playbook where each setup is written down
with its rules and then shows its own win rate and average, an A to F execution grade and mistake
tags on every trade, a pre-trade checklist, chart screenshots, a rules checker that flags trades
breaking a daily max loss, max trades, losses in a row or trading hours and prices what each breach
cost, and a what-if view that replays past results without a chosen mistake, setup, hour or weekday.

The publisher is Greenwick, a site of free broker reviews and lessons for small-cap day traders
that earns referral fees on some of what it reviews; the journal is its only paid product. No
company name, country or address appears anywhere on the site, and the privacy policy describes
the publisher as independent and unregistered. The page is written in the first person by the
person who built it, and the reports are shaped, by the vendor's own account, around a US small-cap
momentum day: several entries in the first hour, prices from $1 to $20, a few repeated setups.

## Pricing

$49.99, once, through Whop; the download link arrives by email after payment. No subscription, no
account, and no free trial. The page offers a 14-day refund if the journal is not for you, by
message. Nothing on the page says whether version 2 cost existing buyers anything, or what a
version 3 would.

## Data & coverage

Stocks, from the fills in a broker export. The vendor says the app is designed for stock-trade
exports, that futures P&L has not been verified and should not be relied on, and says nothing about
options, forex or crypto. Every figure on the page is in dollars and every example is a US
small cap; no other currency or exchange is mentioned. There is no market data of any kind: no
quotes, no price charts, no MFE or MAE, because the journal never sees anything but your fills.

## Integrations

CSV and XLSX import with automatic column matching; the vendor names no broker formats and says to
message if yours fails. Out the other way, the journal exports an 11-sheet Excel workbook or CSV at
any time, a printable period review, and a one-file backup that carries notes and tags. No API, no
webhooks, no scripting and no MCP server.

## Limitations

- No broker sync, so each session's trades arrive only when you export and import a file. The
comparison table on the vendor's own page concedes this against Tradervue, Edgewonk and TraderSync.
- One browser on one computer. Clear that browser's storage without a backup and the journal is
gone; the vendor's advice is a weekly one-click backup. There is no mobile app.
- No MFE or MAE, no price charts and no market data: the exit cannot be critiqued against where
the price went while you were in the trade.
- Stocks only in practice; futures arithmetic is unverified by the vendor's own statement.
- No trial. The only way to try it is to buy it and use the 14-day refund.
- No named legal entity behind the product, and support runs through a personal email and Whop
messages. The product page's own version history starts at version 2 in October 2026; the site
does not say when version 1 shipped.

## Alternatives

[TradingDiary Pro](https://stockmarketstack.com/tools/tradingdiary-pro) is the other buy-once journal, Windows only, with
statement importers for about 30 named brokers and the tax and equity reports this one lacks.
[TradeNote](https://stockmarketstack.com/tools/tradenote) keeps your trades on your own machine for nothing, if you are willing
to run it yourself. [Tradervue](https://stockmarketstack.com/tools/tradervue) is the hosted choice when you want trades to
appear without exporting anything, and [Edgewonk](https://stockmarketstack.com/tools/edgewonk) if MFE and MAE are the reason
you journal. [StonkJournal](https://stockmarketstack.com/tools/stonkjournal) is free with no trade cap if you type trades in.

## FAQ

### Is there a free trial of Greenwick Journal?

No. The product page says the free feedback-copy offer has ended, and there is no demo build. What stands in for a trial is a 14-day refund, requested by message through Whop, where the checkout runs. A free Excel and Google Sheets journal from the same publisher is a separate spreadsheet, not a cut-down copy of the app.

### Does it connect to my broker?

No. You download a CSV or XLSX export from the broker and drop it into the journal, which matches the columns itself and skips rows it has already seen on a re-import. The vendor names no supported brokers; if your export does not load, the page says to message with the broker's name or take the refund.

### Where does my data live, and can I use it on two computers?

In one browser on one computer. The app is a ZIP you extract and open in Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari, nothing is uploaded and there is no account. There is no sync between devices or browsers; moving the journal means exporting a one-file backup and restoring it on the other machine.

### Does it handle options or futures?

The page says it is designed for stock-trade exports and that futures P&L calculations have not been verified, in the vendor's own words. Options, forex and crypto are not mentioned at all.
