## What it is

The Dividend Tracker is a web and mobile dividend tracker: a payout calendar, a projected annual
income figure, progress toward an income goal, and email alerts when a holding raises or cuts.
Around that it has grown a community layer — posts, polls, shared portfolio snapshots and members'
"verified holdings and trades" — plus idea lists and calculators and a "Dividend Grades" score on
paid plans. The terms name The Dividend Tracker, LLC; the footer says The Dividend Tracker Inc.

## Pricing

Free caps you at one portfolio and ten holdings, imports CSV only, restricts the payout calendar
and shows ads. Premium is $8.99 a month: ten portfolios, unlimited holdings, broker auto-import,
CSV export, the full calendar, advanced metrics and the MCP integration. Pro is $16.95 a month:
thirty portfolios, plus API access, webhooks and long-range back-tests.

Only monthly prices are printed. The FAQ says annual billing gives two months free but does not
give a figure. There is no trial; there is a 14-day money-back guarantee.

## Data & coverage

US, Canadian and UK stocks, ETFs and funds, plus over 2,800 crypto tickers quoted against the US
dollar. The homepage claims 15+ exchanges and 25+ currencies, and the pricing page — the one the
vendor has to keep accurate — says US, Canada and UK on every plan. The homepage also promises
"real-time updates", while the footer says the data "is not necessarily real-time nor accurate";
no feed is named.

## Integrations

Broker auto-import is paid, and US-only according to the FAQ. Most brokers refresh once every 24
hours, usually in the evening; the vendor names M1 Finance, E-Trade, Charles Schwab and TD Ameritrade
as sometimes taking up to 72 hours. Everything else is CSV.

Premium and Pro carry an MCP integration for ChatGPT or Claude; the endpoint is live and asks for
credentials. Pro adds an API and webhooks with no public documentation.

## Limitations

- No data for continental European, Asian or Australian listings.
- A holding with fewer than six past dividends is not projected — new ETFs stay blank.
- The forward figure is the last regular dividend extrapolated: no growth, no cut, no DRIP.
- Broker data can lag by up to three days, so a fresh trade may not appear right away.
- No trial, and no annual price on the pricing page.
- "Back-tests" and "Dividend Grades" are named on the pricing page and described nowhere public.

## Alternatives

[DivTracker](https://stockmarketstack.com/tools/divtracker) is cheaper and iPhone-first. [Snowball
Analytics](https://stockmarketstack.com/tools/snowball-analytics) reaches 70+ exchanges and has its own MCP server on its top
plan.

## FAQ

### How does The Dividend Tracker project dividend income?

Two ways, and they can disagree. The dashboard figure projects annual income from current holdings and converts it at yesterday's exchange rate. The portfolio summary takes the last non-special dividend and extrapolates it twelve months. A security needs at least six past payments before it is projected at all, so new funds and IPOs show nothing.

### Does The Dividend Tracker work outside the US?

For data, partly — the pricing page and FAQ both say US, Canadian and UK listings. Automatic broker import is US-only, according to the FAQ. The homepage's claims of 500+ brokers across Europe and 25+ currencies are not repeated on either of those pages.

### Is there a free trial of The Dividend Tracker?

No. The vendor offers a 14-day money-back guarantee on Premium and Pro instead. A lifetime plan is mentioned in the FAQ, with the caveat that a future owner may change its terms, but it is not on the pricing page.

### Does The Dividend Tracker have an MCP server?

Yes, on Premium and Pro. On 7 October 2026 an unauthenticated request to its MCP endpoint returned 401 unauthenticated while a made-up path returned 404 — a running server that wants your credentials. The API and webhooks are a Pro feature, and there is no public documentation for either.
