## What it is

TIKR Terminal is a browser-based research tool for people who read financial statements
themselves: income statement, balance sheet, cash flow and ratios, segment data, Wall Street
consensus estimates, valuation multiples, earnings-call transcripts, global filings,
institutional ownership, and a screener over a claimed 100,000+ listings across 92 countries and
136 exchanges. A P/E-based valuation model builder takes growth, margin and exit-multiple
assumptions in place of a spreadsheet.

Provenance is the pitch, and TIKR names its suppliers: the help centre lists S&P Global Capital
IQ and Morningstar as data partners, with Financial Modeling Prep as a secondary dataset to
broaden coverage, and the front page repeats the Capital IQ attribution. The Financials tab is
GAAP standardised by Capital IQ, so line items can be recategorised for comparability; the
Estimates tab is a sell-side consensus and is therefore adjusted, non-GAAP. Which dataset you
are reading is a dropdown, and the choice changes what you can see.

## Pricing

Four plans: Free at $0, Plus $24.95, Pro $54.95, Ultimate $119.95 per month, or $17.95, $37.95
and $79.95 a month paid a year upfront — about 30% off. There is no trial; new paid customers
get 14 days to ask for a refund and existing ones do not.

The free tier is a demo with a hard edge: US stocks only, five years and eight quarters of
financials, one year of forward estimates, 90 days of transcripts, one saved screen, one
newsfeed, the top 40 investor portfolios. Global coverage and detailed estimates start at Plus;
Excel export, segment financials, premium metrics, transcript search and management guidance at
Pro.

## Data & coverage

Common equities only. The vendor states that TIKR does not cover preferred shares or bonds,
anywhere in the product or the screener, and does not carry short interest.

History is the tier ladder, and the headline needs reading twice. Free is 5 years and 8
quarters, Plus 10 years and 20 quarters, Ultimate 30 years. Pro is sold as 20 years, but on the
S&P Global dataset only the first 10 render in a table — deeper is chart-only, unless you switch
to the Morningstar dataset, which tables all 20. Forward estimates run 1, 2, 4 and 5 years by
tier, consensus only: you can see how many analysts contributed a number, never which.

Non-US coverage is the same product rather than a thinner one — the screener filters by country
and region, filings are compiled from the SEC, SEDAR and 15+ other sources, and ownership goes
past US 13Fs to international disclosures — but it is paid: the free tier is US-only.

## Integrations

Effectively none, by the vendor's own account. There is no API and no spreadsheet plug-in, and
the help centre warns that programmatic access or scraping ends in permanent account closure.
Export is in-product only: Excel export starts at Pro, Plus can copy a table to the clipboard,
and screener results cannot be exported at all — copy and paste, 500 rows at a time. Charts save
as PNG or JPG.

## Limitations

- No API and no Excel add-in at any price; screener output leaves only by clipboard, 500 rows
  at a time. If the workflow ends in a spreadsheet or a notebook, weigh that before the price.
- "20 years" on Pro is charting depth on the main dataset, not table depth.
- The free tier is US-only, so it cannot be used to judge the global coverage you would pay for.
- No preferred shares, no bonds, no short interest.
- No mobile app — responsive web, nothing more.
- Portfolio monitoring means a watchlist with valuation columns and a news feed: no broker
  import, no cost basis, no return calculation.

You choose between the Main (S&P Global) and Morningstar datasets from a dropdown inside the terminal, and the two differ in how much history you can see in a table.
