## What it is

TradesViz is a hosted trade journal that puts almost all of its weight on what happens after the
import. Fills arrive from a broker connection or a file, get stitched into trades, then sliced by
tag, symbol, time of day, hold time or any custom field, through a chart library running from
roughly 80 base charts on the free plan to 150+ on the top one.

Instrument coverage is the other reason to look. Stocks, stock options, futures, futures options,
forex, crypto and CFDs all import as first-class instruments, and options get spread detection,
Greeks-versus-performance charts and a payoff chart rather than one flattened P&L number.

## Pricing

Basic is free forever and caps imports at 3,000 executions a month, stocks only, one trading
account, two chart images per trade. Pro is $19.99 month-to-month or $14.99 billed annually: no
import cap, all seven asset types, ten accounts, the AI Coach review and plain-English AI
Query. Platinum is $29.99 month-to-month, $22.49 annually, and holds the market-facing half — the
simulators, the real-time screener, options flow, the options backtester and the exit-analysis
charts. Both paid plans have a 7-day trial.

## Data & coverage

The journal is market-agnostic; brokers in the US, Canada, the UK, the EU, India, Singapore and
Australia all import. The market data is not: the vendor supports it for the US, India, Canada and
Australia only, and it arrives after the close — the FAQ says data comes "only after EOD (delayed)
for most asset types", unrealised P&L is priced off the last EOD close, and pre- and post-market
bars land about sixteen hours late. The one live feed is the Platinum screener, which covers US
stocks only, runs on unconsolidated data and only in session (8:30am-5pm ET); options flow is
US-only and parsed from OPRA daily.

## Integrations

264 brokers and platforms are listed, against a marketing line of "250+ brokers, 70+ auto-sync".
Sixty-two rows carry a tick in the "100% Auto-Sync" column, for a connection that pulls every 24
hours; ten more sync through Plaid, which the vendor says reaches 3,110 US institutions and which
is Pro and Platinum only. The other 192 rows carry an asterisk, and the table's legend reads "can
auto-sync using Google-drive method" — you still export the file from your broker yourself and
overwrite it in a shared Drive folder, and TradesViz picks it up every 12 hours. Automatic in the
sense of no upload, manual in the sense that the export is still your job, so check your broker's
row before subscribing.

## Limitations

- No public API, no webhooks, no MCP server. Data leaves as a CSV you download by hand.
- No tax reporting at all — no 1099 reconciliation, no wash sales, no gain/loss schedule.
- The free plan is stocks-only and single-account, so options and futures traders pay from day one.
- The simulator replays historical data; it is not a live paper account at a broker.
- No price or condition alerts, and no order routing.

### What does the free TradesViz plan actually allow?

Basic is free forever with no card: 3,000 executions imported per month, stocks only, one trading account, two chart images per trade and two indicators on each. The chart library is trimmed to roughly 80 base charts and only the P&L charts are drillable. Options, futures, forex and crypto imports are not on it at all.

### Does TradesViz sync from my broker automatically?

Sometimes. The vendor's list runs to 264 brokers and platforms, but only 62 have a native auto-sync that runs every 24 hours and ten more sync through Plaid, on Pro and Platinum only. The remaining 192 are marked as syncing by the Google Drive method: you still produce the broker export yourself and overwrite a file in a shared Drive folder, which TradesViz then reads every 12 hours.

### Does TradesViz have an API?

Not a public one. The APIs it talks about are the broker APIs it uses to pull your fills in. Getting data back out means triggering a CSV download from the export screen by hand.

### What is the difference between Pro and Platinum?

Pro buys the imports and the analysis; Platinum buys the market-facing tools. The real-time US stock screener, options flow dashboard and scanner, the replay and what-if simulators, the options strategy backtester and the exit-analysis chart set are all Platinum-only, as is the jump from 100+ to 150+ base charts.
