Built something the catalogue is missing? Tell us below. If you are not the vendor and the gap is obvious anyway, send it and say so. Already listed and something is wrong? Claim the listing instead.

What belongs here is software and data: programs, APIs, libraries, feeds. Brokers, robo-advisors, paid picks and idea newsletters are out, and so is anything with no stock or options market behind it — the boundary is on the about page.

An address at the product's own domain if you work on it. We never publish it.

The product, not the company. One vendor can have several entries here.

The brand that signs the disclosures and answers the support mail. Often the same as the name — and never the parent company that owns it.

One sentence. Not the feature list — the reason somebody pays.

A trial, a free tier, an API key — what it allows and where it stops. This matters more than everything else on this form put together.

What the cheapest paid plan actually costs.

And what it does not do. A submission that names its own limits is likelier to become a card than one that reads like a launch post.

What a submission does and does not do

We write the card ourselves, from the product, not from the form. Copy you supply can be published, but in its own labelled block, separate from our description; the two are never merged. A submission is not a promise of a card: categories are opened one at a time, and a tool that belongs in one we have not opened yet waits until we get there.

Nothing in a submission buys a place in a listing, a position in one, a rating, an omission, or a word of the description, and nothing moves a submission ahead of the rest of the pile. Paid placement buys presentation and a label and nothing else — the advertising page has the full list. Submitting is free today; if that ever carries a fee, the fee will buy a look and never the answer.
