PickMyTrade

TradingView alerts to futures, prop-firm and IBKR accounts, for one flat fee per login.

Best for futures and prop-firm traders whose rule is a TradingView alert and who run many sub-accounts under one broker login; not for stock traders outside IBKR, TradeStation or Tradier.

What it is

PickMyTrade is a webhook bridge for one signal source. You build the rule as a TradingView strategy or indicator alert, paste PickMyTrade's webhook URL and a JSON message into the alert, and each firing becomes an order at the broker you connected. The vendor says it processes an order in under 200 ms on its side; what TradingView and the broker add on either end is not in that number. It is published by PickMyTrade Pvt. Ltd.

Its centre of gravity is futures. The company's own story is about traders who could not get TradingView strategies onto Tradovate and prop-firm accounts, and the feature set follows: one alert copied to unlimited sub-accounts under one login, symbol mapping (alert on NQ, trade MNQ), risk percentage and quantity multipliers per account, trailing stops, break-even offsets and a manual trade copier. Stocks arrive through Interactive Brokers, TradeStation and Tradier.

Pricing

One plan: $50 a month or $500 a year, with unlimited trades, strategies, tickers and sub-accounts under one broker login and a 7-day trial that needs no card. The catch is in the unit — a second broker login or a second prop-firm login is a second subscription, so a trader spread across three prop firms on three platforms pays three times. No refunds of any kind; payments go through Paddle as merchant of record.

Data & coverage

Brokers and platforms: Tradovate, Rithmic, Interactive Brokers, TradeStation, TradeLocker, ProjectX and Match-Trader, with Tradier, cTrader and Ironbeam in beta. Prop firms include Apex Trader Funding, TopStep, Bulenox and FundedNext; the site variously counts them as "9+" and "10+ more". Through IBKR the vendor lists stocks and ETFs, options, futures and forex; TradeLocker and cTrader add forex and CFDs.

The IBKR route goes through TWS or IB Gateway, which must be running and logged in on your own machine, a VPS, or a cloud connection PickMyTrade provides. PickMyTrade supplies no market data.

Integrations

TradingView is the signal source the whole product is built around — strategies, indicators and watchlist alerts — with "custom webhooks" mentioned on the IBKR page for anything else that can send the same JSON. There is no backtester, editor or analytics layer of its own, and no public API documented.

Limitations

  • Strategy signals go as market orders on Tradovate. A docs article defends this as deliberate — an unfilled limit order would leave the strategy and the account disagreeing about the position — but it means slippage on every automated entry and exit.
  • Priced per broker login, which is cheap for one login with many sub-accounts and expensive for one trader on several platforms.
  • The IBKR route has a moving part you own. If TWS or IB Gateway logs out, orders stop.
  • Stocks are a secondary market here; the documentation, the examples and the support articles are overwhelmingly about futures.
  • No refunds, and an arbitration clause you have 30 days to opt out of.

Alternatives

TradersPost covers more stock brokers and asset classes, priced per account rather than per login. SignalStack meters by orders sent and has a free tier of five a month. NinjaTrader if you would rather the futures strategy ran inside the platform that executes it.

FAQ

How much does PickMyTrade cost?

$50 a month or $500 a year, one plan with no feature tiers. It covers unlimited trades and sub-accounts under a single broker login; connecting a second broker or prop-firm login needs a second subscription. There is a 7-day trial with no card.

Does PickMyTrade need my computer running to trade Interactive Brokers?

Something has to be. Orders reach IBKR through TWS or IB Gateway, which must be running and logged in — on your own computer, a VPS, or the cloud connection PickMyTrade offers. Tradovate and the other API brokers have no such requirement.

Can I trade stocks with PickMyTrade?

Yes, through Interactive Brokers, TradeStation and Tradier (in beta), which carry stocks, ETFs and options. The product is built around futures, though — Tradovate, Rithmic, ProjectX and prop-firm accounts are where most of the documentation lives.

Does PickMyTrade refund unused months?

No. The terms state that no refunds are given for any payment, including unused or partial months; billing runs through Paddle as merchant of record.
