What it is
Valuesider parses the quarterly filings of a hand-picked list of value investors and shows each as a portfolio: holdings with weights, the quarter's buys and sells, a per-ticker history, and the link to the original SEC filing. The list held 97 entries on 7 October 2026. Most are 13F filers — Berkshire Hathaway, Baupost, Pershing Square, Himalaya, Fundsmith — and some are mutual funds and ETFs reporting on N-PORT, such as the Sequoia Fund, Oakmark Select and Pabrai's Wagons ETF.
Above the portfolios sit aggregate tables (most-owned tickers, most-bought, biggest positions), a holdings race chart per fund, and screeners over holdings and activity. The paid plans add three scores per fund — Glide-up, Activity and Hold — and the Form 3 and Form 4 filings of listed managers who are themselves insiders, which is the only part of the site that is not a quarter old.
It is published by Valuesider LLC, which names no person and no address in its terms. The site has run since 2021. Archived copies show the old front end still served in May 2026; the current rebuild was first captured on 18 August 2026, its build changed again by 30 August and 14 September, and the page served on 7 October 2026 carried a fourth build.
Pricing
Three plans, read off the pricing page on 7 October 2026. Basic is a free account: full holdings rather than the top ten, the screeners, five years of history, follows, and ads. Premium is $25 a month, or $16 a month billed annually, and adds the scores, insider trades, alerts on investors and tickers, the Edge Over Investor screener, options and debt positions, ten years of history and an ad switch. Elite is $47, or $33 billed annually: saved screener presets with alerts on them, three extra funds of your choosing, and the whole history. Paddle is the merchant of record. A first purchase can be refunded within 14 days; renewals and unused time are not.
Data & coverage
History starts at Q2 2013, when 13F moved to structured XML; Valuesider says it chose not to parse the earlier plain-text filings rather than publish them at 70–80% accuracy. Shares are split-adjusted, CUSIPs are mapped to tickers, and the "reported price" is the quarter-end price, not what the manager paid. The Q2 2026 portfolios were in by early October, and Berkshire's Form 4 trades were two days old when checked. Scion Asset Management's last filing on the site is dated 3 November 2025.
Integrations
None. No API, no export, no add-in. Alerts go by email or in-app. The terms forbid scraping, bulk download and redistribution.
Limitations
- 13F's blind spots are all here. Long positions only, no shorts, no cash or bonds in the portfolio value, options reported inconsistently, and only the securities the SEC's 13(f) list covers, which are overwhelmingly US-listed. Filings land up to 45 days after quarter end, so a portfolio read in August describes 30 June.
- The list is an editorial choice. 97 value-leaning managers, with no stated rule for who is included. Anything aggregated across them inherits that selection.
- The scores and the Edge Over Investor screener point at things to buy. The scores rank funds by how smoothly their reported portfolios grew; the screener finds stocks now below a manager's reported buy level or above a reported sell level. The site's stated mission is to make cloning effortless, while its own caveats page tells readers not to copy managers. Neither output is a fact about the filings.
- Nothing leaves the site. For a research pipeline, look elsewhere.
- A young rebuild. The current site is weeks old and shipping builds every few weeks; expect features and plan contents to move.

FAQ
Is Valuesider free?
The portfolio pages can be read without paying, and the Basic account is free and shows full holdings, the screeners and five years of history, with ads. Premium is $25 a month or $16 a month billed annually; Elite is $47, or $33 billed annually. Billing goes through Paddle, with a 14-day refund on a first purchase only.
Does Valuesider have an API or a CSV export?
No API is documented on any plan, and the terms of service forbid bots and scrapers, bulk download or export, and redistributing the data. It is a site to read, not a source to pull from.
How many investors does it track, and can I add my own?
The curated list held 97 entries on 7 October 2026, from Berkshire Hathaway and Baupost to mutual funds such as the Sequoia Fund and Dodge & Cox Stock Fund. Elite subscribers can request up to three more SEC filers by CIK; the filer must file 13F or N-PORT, should usually hold no more than 100 positions, and is reviewed before it is added.
How far back does the history go?
To Q2 2013 and no further, because that is when 13F filings became structured XML; Valuesider declines to parse the plain-text filings before it. Free accounts see five years, Premium ten, Elite all of it.
