Wealthica Business
Canadian wealth aggregation — 125 published providers, positions, transactions, CUSIP.

What it is
Wealthica Financial Technology Inc. has aggregated Canadian investment accounts since 2015, and
Wealthica Business Solutions is the developer half of it. Your backend exchanges a client ID and
secret for a per-user bearer token, the user links an institution through a hosted Connect widget
or a redirect, and you read investments, positions, transactions, securities, documents and
balance history back from api.wealthica.com/v1 through one schema.
It is a separate product from the consumer app, not a marketing page for it: the app has four
published annual prices, the API has hand-issued keys, its own SDKs, its own docs and no published
price. Vezgo, the group's crypto API, is its own product again, with its own docs, SDK and signup;
the two meet only at /providers, whose group filter is core, vezgo, yodlee or
thirdparty — core being the native connectors, "excluding Yodlee/Plaid and crypto".
A Canadian reader usually arrives because of a gap. Flinks retired its own Investments product on 30 April 2026; its documentation still carries the notice — new integrations unsupported, existing ones stopping after that date — beside endpoints now marked deprecated.
Pricing
Not published, and there is nothing to read: the business site has no pricing page, /pricing
returns 404, both buttons open a booking calendar, and the docs say to email sales for keys.
The docs do leak the shape. Webhooks are enabled on request and, in the documentation's own words, require a premium plan — so there are tiers, and the vendor prints none of them. There is no free tier and no way to reach a real institution before signing; once keys exist, a Demo provider simulates 2FA, a crash mid-sync and every named error.
Data & coverage
The Supported Providers page listed 125 entries on 19 September 2026: 21 banks, 84 brokerages and 20 others, of which 102 return positions and 42 also return documents. The big-six brokerages are all present, and so is the part nobody else covers — Manulife and Sun Life group retirement plans, IG Wealth, Mackenzie, Fidelity Canada, and dozens of advisor platforms on MyPortfolio+.
Connection classes are published per provider and the split is stark: 117 credentials, 5 token, 3
OAuth, which /providers enumerates as scraper, api and oauth. This is a scraping network
with an OAuth exception for Questrade and Wealthsimple, not an open-banking one.
Positions carry quantity, book_value, market_value, gain_amount, gain_percent, class,
categories, geo, sectors and option_details; securities carry symbol, cusip, aliases
and last price with its date. No ISIN, no per-lot array. Account types are the Canadian registered
set, TFSA and FHSA through LIRA, LIF and RRIF. Refresh is once daily plus an on-demand
/institutions/:id/sync with a polling endpoint that holds for at most 30 seconds, and prices are
whatever the institution reported.
Integrations
REST and JSON. wealthica-sdk-js is one package for browser and Node, at 0.0.21 on npm since 3
April 2026 with commits through 5 August 2026; wealthica on PyPI is the vendor's own at 1.0.1,
uploaded 25 February 2026 from github.com/wealthica/wealthica-sdk-python and last committed 27
May 2026. Connect runs as a popup widget or a redirect. Webhooks fire SyncInstitution and
SyncError from four static IPs, with an error enum that separates bad credentials from a 2FA
prompt from a temporary failure. No MCP server.
Limitations
- No published price, no free tier, no self-serve key and no trial, and webhooks are a paid feature on request — so the cheapest integration polls.
- Credentials, not open banking, for 117 of 125 providers, including every bank-owned brokerage. If the first sync fails to log in, the docs say the institution is removed from the user's list automatically.
- Per-provider caveats are published and worth reading before promising a client anything: Wealthsimple Trade is not supported, Questwealth needs a different connector from Questrade, TD requires a specific 2FA setting, RBC requires the exchange agreements to have been accepted, and Épargne Placements Québec cannot sync daily at all.
- No ISIN and no tax lots — you reconcile on symbol, CUSIP and description. Read-only, too: nothing here places an order or moves an account, whatever the asset-transfer use case implies.
- Three endpoints carry warnings of their own — portfolio is experimental, deprecated and marked
not for production, performance is a work in progress expected to change, and
/providersis "not finalized". - No documented rate limits and no documented transaction lookback.
- Canada-first. US and global reach is a handful of entries — Edward Jones US, Morgan Stanley StockPlan Connect, Wise, Kalshi — plus whatever the Yodlee group adds.
- Three different counts are in circulation from the vendor itself: 200-plus on the business site, "over 150" on the docs home page, and the 125 its own Supported Providers page actually lists.
Alternatives
Plaid Investments lists 15 Canadian institutions with investments support in its own coverage file; SnapTrade has ten Canadian integrations and will also place an order and sell to a two-person shop. Yodlee is both a competitor and, for part of this catalogue, a supplier. MX, Akoya and Mastercard Open Finance are US-first. Wealthica is the one to price when the accounts are Canadian and sit at an advisor, a group plan or a bank-owned brokerage.

FAQ
Is Wealthica Business the same thing as the Wealthica app?
No, though they run on one platform. The consumer app is sold to individuals at four published annual prices; the business product is a REST API with its own client credentials, its own staging and production environments, its own SDKs, its own documentation site and no published price at all. You cannot reach the API by paying for the app.
Is Vezgo the same API under a second name?
No. Vezgo is the Wealthica group's crypto product — its own site, its own docs, its own SDK, its own sign-up — covering exchanges, wallets and chains. The connection is that Wealthica's /providers endpoint groups the catalogue into core, vezgo, yodlee and thirdparty, so crypto providers are visible from the same widget. This card covers only the traditional-investment API.
What does Wealthica Business cost?
Nothing is published. There is no pricing page on the business site and no figure in the docs; keys are issued by hand after a sales conversation. The docs do confirm that tiers exist — webhooks are enabled on request and require what the documentation calls a premium plan — without saying what any of them costs.
Which Canadian brokerages does it actually reach?
The vendor's Supported Providers page listed 125 entries on 19 September 2026 — 21 banks, 84 brokerages and 20 others. RBC Direct Investing, TD WebBroker, BMO InvestorLine, Scotia iTRADE, CIBC Investor's Edge, National Bank Direct Brokerage, Desjardins Disnat, Qtrade, Questrade, Wealthsimple and Interactive Brokers are all on it, alongside group retirement plans and a long tail of advisor platforms. The marketing counter on the business site says 200-plus.
