Wealthica
Canadian portfolio tracker that syncs banks, brokerages and group plans, with ACB reports.
Best for Canadian investors with accounts spread across banks, discount brokers, advisors and group retirement plans who want one synced view with capital-gains and income reports; not for US-only accounts or anyone who wants a free plan.

What it is
Wealthica is a Canadian consumer app for one problem a Canadian investor has more often than most: accounts at a bank-owned brokerage, a discount broker, an advisor's platform and an employer's group retirement plan, each with its own login and none of them talking to the others. Wealthica logs into each one, pulls balances, positions and transactions once a day, and shows them as one balance sheet, one holdings list and one transaction history, with family members and trusts as groups.
Reports are sold as "Power Ups": balance sheet, capital gains on adjusted cost base with currency gains and losses, income, fees, performance, and a budgeting tool. Notifications flag uninvested cash and new transactions. Holdings can be grouped into portfolios and custom categories; manual assets cover what no institution reports. The same company sells a developer API, Wealthica Business, as a separate product — see Wealthica Business.
Pricing
Four plans, each with a 14-day trial. Connect at $50 a year or $6.25 a month allows three institutions from Wealthica's own connector collection, though the Plaid and Yodlee collection is open on it too. Unlimited Connect at $75 or $9.99 removes the cap and adds digital assets, Google Sheets sync and sharing your dashboard. Premium at $150 or $19.99 adds US institutions (in beta), 15-minute delayed quotes in the holdings view, unlimited portfolios, accepting sharing invites from up to ten users, and premium support. Prestige at $250 or $29.99 adds geographic allocation, custom attributes on manual assets and VIP support. The plan cards on the pricing page show only the top three; Connect appears in the comparison table below them and on the home page.
Three add-ons are billed on top on any plan: Excel sync at $4.19 a month, Google Sheets sync at $5.99 on Connect (included above it), and a Wealthscope plugin at $15.95.
The currency is not labelled. The US and Canadian versions of the pricing page print the same figures with a bare dollar sign, and Wealthica's terms say charges are in the currency shown at checkout or on the invoice. The app's checkout, read on 23 October 2026, sets that currency from the billing country: Canadian dollars for a Canadian address, US dollars for any other, on the same numerals. This card records the figures in CAD, the currency its Canadian reader pays. The pricing page also offers a 60-day money-back guarantee on Premium, while the terms of service, updated 14 October 2026, say refunds are at Wealthica's discretion.
Data & coverage
Canada first. The home page claims 20,000-plus institutions through its own connectors plus Yodlee, Plaid and Vezgo for crypto, and $49 billion of tracked assets; Wealthica's own supported-providers list, as recorded on the Wealthica Business card, holds 125 native entries, most of them Canadian banks, brokerages and group plans. US institutions are a beta on Premium and Prestige. Prices are whatever the institution reported at the daily sync, or 15-minute delayed quotes in the holdings view on Premium and up.
Integrations
Google Sheets and Excel sync push balances, positions and transactions into a spreadsheet, and the home page also lists an export to Yahoo Finance. Rebalancing runs through Passiv as a Power Up. iOS and Android apps carry the same account. No consumer API — that is the Business product.
Limitations
- No free plan. The entry price is $50 a year for three institutions.
- Credentials, mostly. As the sibling card records, most native connectors log in with your credentials rather than through open banking.
- US accounts are a beta, and only on the two top plans.
- Unlabelled currency on the pricing page: the same numerals are CAD or USD depending on the billing address.
- An upsell sits in the price list. Premium carries a 75% discount on Stockchase Premium, which the pricing page sells as "Daily Top Picks with Experts Ratings". That is a separate product of stock picks; nothing in Wealthica's own tracking depends on it.
Alternatives
Sharesight is the tracker built around tax reports, CRA included, where Wealthica stops at a capital gains report. Kubera is the balance-sheet view for mixed assets. Portseido handles portfolios spread across countries. For the developer side of the same aggregation, see the account aggregation APIs.

FAQ
How much does Wealthica cost?
Four plans on Wealthica's pricing page, read on 23 October 2026 — Connect at $50 a year, Unlimited Connect at $75, Premium at $150 and Prestige at $250, or $6.25, $9.99, $19.99 and $29.99 month to month. Each starts with a 14-day trial. The page prints a bare dollar sign on both its US and its Canadian version; the app's checkout charges in Canadian dollars to a Canadian billing address and in US dollars to any other.
Is Wealthica still free?
Not on the current pricing page, which lists no free plan. The cheapest is Connect at $50 a year, limited to three institutions from Wealthica's own connectors. Wealthica's blog announced in November 2022 that free accounts would be capped at two connections from 9 January 2023; no free plan is offered on the pricing or home pages today.
What is the difference between Wealthica and Wealthica Business?
Wealthica is the app an individual subscribes to; Wealthica Business is the developer API the same company sells to firms, with hand-issued keys and no published price. Paying for the app does not give you API access. The API has its own card in this catalogue.
Does Wealthica do Canadian tax reporting?
It produces a capital gains report built on adjusted cost base, with currency gains and losses, plus income and fee reports, on every plan. It does not file anything or produce a CRA form; the figures are as good as the transactions the institutions report.
