getquin
EU-first portfolio tracker with open-banking broker imports and a social feed.

What it is
getquin is a portfolio tracker built by QUIN Technologies GmbH in Berlin, sold to European retail investors first and everyone else second. You connect brokers through an open-banking style credential link, it consolidates them into one net worth figure, and it prices the result live. Bolted onto that is a genuine social network — posts, follows, cashtags, hashtags and community badges — which is where most of the free tier's daily engagement lives now that the analytics sit behind a subscription. The feed can be switched off; it is a feature of the tracker, not the product itself.
Pricing
Three annual plans, billed in euros. Free is EUR 0 and carries unlimited bank and broker connections. Premium is EUR 89.99 a year, Wealth EUR 149.99 a year; the dollar figures above are converted at 1.16 and will drift. All three are listed exclusive of country-specific taxes, which are added at checkout. There is no monthly option. A separate human advisory subscription, priced at an EUR 499 early-bird rate, is a different service from the app.
What Premium actually buys is the arithmetic: TTWROR performance charts, the internal rate of return, benchmarking against indices, CAGR, yield on cost, dividend forecasting and the AI portfolio analysis. Wealth adds retirement projection, goals and unlimited AI agent access. The seven-day trial is one per account and auto-converts to a year.
Data & coverage
Stocks, ETFs, mutual funds, bonds, options, derivatives, certificates, cash, time deposits, commodities, precious metals, real estate and crypto — the asset coverage is broader than most trackers in this category. The help centre documents no exchange or wallet connection for crypto; it says only where the prices come from, which is CoinGecko, with intraday data from Finage.
Prices are real-time during trading hours, but sourced from the German Lang & Schwarz exchange or Stuttgart, not from each security's primary listing. For a US-listed holding that means a German market-maker quote, which will not match a US broker's screen and thins out when Frankfurt is closed.
Integrations
Broker connections are documented per institution: Trade Republic, Scalable Capital, flatex, ING, comdirect, Commerzbank, Consorsbank, Smartbroker, Deutsche Bank, S-Broker, 1822direkt, onvista and finanzen.net Zero in Germany, with separate entries for flatex and Scalable Capital in Austria and for DADAT; DEGIRO, Trading 212, Revolut, Swissquote, Fineco, Santander, Banco Best, HSBC, Bestinvest, Interactive Brokers and Lynx internationally; Wealthsimple, National Bank Direct Brokerage and Questrade in Canada; Robinhood, Fidelity, E-Trade, Tastytrade and Chase in the US. Anything undocumented is CSV, an AI document import, or manual entry. There is no public API.
Limitations
- No data export at all. The help centre says so outright. Whatever you type in stays in.
- No tax report. What exists is a setting: you type in your own capital gains rate and a tax-free allowance, and getquin deducts it from displayed performance. It is not a filable report, and no jurisdiction's rules are modelled.
- Both real return metrics are paywalled. A free user sees a simple relative return, which is the number most likely to flatter a portfolio that has been added to steadily.
- Prices come from a German venue, so a US or UK investor is reading a quote from the wrong exchange.
- No API, no webhooks, no spreadsheet add-in. This is an app, not a component.
- The published broker list has stale entries, and open-banking links to any consumer broker are the first thing to break after a login flow changes.
Alternatives
Portfolio Performance is the open-source, local-first answer for the same German-influenced TTWROR vocabulary, free and uncapped, at the cost of running a desktop application and importing by hand. Parqet targets the same German neo-broker audience with a paid-first model. Sharesight is the choice if a filing-grade tax report matters more than a feed.

FAQ
Does getquin connect to US brokers?
Yes. Alongside the German and European list, the help centre documents Open Banking connections for Robinhood, Fidelity, E-Trade, Tastytrade and Chase. It also still lists TD Ameritrade, which Schwab absorbed years ago, so check your own broker by name rather than trusting the list's currency.
Does getquin report TTWROR or IRR by default?
Neither. The default figure on the dashboard is a simple relative return. TTWROR performance charts and the internal rate of return are both Premium features, so the free plan shows the least informative of the three numbers.
Can I export my portfolio out of getquin?
No. getquin's own help centre states that it does not currently offer an export of your portfolio or securities account from the app or the web app. Imports are one-way, which is worth knowing before you backfill years of transactions by hand.
Is getquin free?
The free plan is real — unlimited bank and broker connections, real-time data and a net worth overview. Premium is EUR 89.99 a year and Wealth EUR 149.99 a year, both annual only and both quoted before country-specific taxes, after a one-time seven-day Premium trial that converts automatically unless cancelled 24 hours before it ends.
