What it is

Delta is a read-only tracker: connect brokerage, exchange and wallet accounts — or type the transactions in — and it keeps one valuation, allocation and performance view across stocks, ETFs, funds, crypto, forex, indices and commodities. It holds no money, places no orders, and asks for read-only API keys only.

It launched in 2017 as a crypto tracker and the crypto side is still the deeper one: ten thousand coins, wallet-level connections, an NFT view. Equities came later and now lead the store listings. The publisher is Opus Labs NV of Ghent, Belgium — named on the terms of service, the Google Play listing and the App Store seller line, under Belgian law. eToro acquired that company in November 2019, which is why the app ships as Delta by etoro; the broker is the parent rather than the publisher, and it is also one of the accounts you can connect. Releases are current rather than nominal: iOS 2026.3.1 on 24 August 2026, Android on 20 August.

Pricing

The paywall is the number of positions, not the number of accounts, which are unlimited on all three tiers. Basic is free and stops at 10 tracked assets; PRO is $6.99/month ($53.88/year) for 40; PRO+ is $13.99/month ($107.88/year) for unlimited assets and portfolios, real-time quotes and gains reporting, or $299 once for a lifetime licence. The plan page says prices vary by location. eToro Club members at Silver and above get PRO free, and PRO+ bundles eToro Club Platinum by region.

Data & coverage

Delta's supported-exchanges article puts NYSE, Nasdaq, Deutsche Börse Xetra and Nasdaq Nordics (Copenhagen, Stockholm, Helsinki, Tallinn, Riga, Vilnius, Iceland) on real-time pricing, and everything else on a delay — 15 minutes for the LSE, Euronext, Börse Frankfurt, SIX Swiss, Borsa Italiana, Bolsa de Madrid, NSE India, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Hong Kong, 20 minutes for Toronto and for the ASX names it carries via Cboe Australia. The same page warns that coverage is not guaranteed for every instrument on a listed exchange and that the data is informational, not trading-grade. Real-time quotes are a PRO+ row on the plan matrix, so on Basic and PRO even the real-time exchanges arrive late.

Crypto is the wider half: 22 exchanges support account connections, price sources run to several hundred venues, and the source is selectable per coin. Portfolios can be valued in any of 150-plus fiat currencies or in BTC or ETH. Dividends on stocks and funds are added automatically on their ex-dividend dates, switchable per portfolio.

Integrations

Delta runs none of its broker plumbing itself: its connections article names three third parties — Powens, SnapTrade and eToro — so whether an account syncs is their answer, not Delta's. Most connections refresh once every 24 hours. Some return only 90 days of trade history and then import balances at the price at sync time, and where a broker's API cannot account for a balance Delta writes an Automatic Balance Adjustment transaction to close the gap, which lands at the top of the transaction list after every sync. At setup you pick between importing new transactions and importing balances only. Anything unsupported goes in by CSV and comes back out the same way, on any tier. No public API, no webhooks, no spreadsheet add-in.

Limitations

  • Ten assets on the free plan is below a real portfolio and PRO's forty is not far above one. Assets past the cap are not deleted — they sort to the bottom, blur, and still count in the totals and the export — but they cannot be opened.
  • Basic and PRO allow one active portfolio, and the active one can be switched only once a month. Multiple portfolios are PRO+ only.
  • No tax report for any jurisdiction; gains reporting is not a tax form, and a tax package still does the filing.
  • Export is CSV or nothing — no API means no scripted reporting.
  • Delta cannot say how many institutions it connects to. Three of its own pages give 200+ (App Store listing), over 1,600 (broker-connections article) and over 10,000 (supported-exchanges article, the most recently updated of the three).
  • Delta AI is metered monthly and the vendor contradicts itself over the free tier: the store listing and the 24 August 2026 release note give Basic three uses a month, while the plan page's table still shows a cross against Basic.

Alternatives

FAQ

Who publishes Delta — eToro or Delta itself?

Opus Labs NV of Ghent, Belgium. Its name is on the terms of service, which are governed by Belgian law, and on both store listings; eToro bought the company in November 2019 and is the parent, which is why the app ships as Delta by etoro rather than as an eToro product. Version 2026.3.1 reached the App Store on 24 August 2026 and the Android build was updated on 20 August 2026.

Which brokers does Delta import from automatically?

Delta does not run its own broker connections. Its help centre names three third parties behind them — Powens, SnapTrade and eToro — so whether your account syncs depends on those, not on Delta. Most connections refresh once every 24 hours, some return only 90 days of trade history, and anything they do not cover has to go in by CSV.

How many assets can I track on the free Delta plan?

Ten. Account connections are unlimited on every tier, including the free one; the positions cap is the paywall — 10 on Basic, 40 on PRO, unlimited on PRO+. Assets past the cap are not deleted. Delta sorts holdings by value, blurs the ones below the line, and still counts them in portfolio value, performance and the CSV export.

How much does Delta PRO cost?

$6.99 a month or $53.88 a year for PRO; PRO+ is $13.99 a month or $107.88 a year, and a lifetime PRO+ licence is offered at $299. Prices are from the vendor's plan page on 14 September 2026 and the page says they vary by region. eToro Club members at Silver and above get PRO at no extra cost.

Does Delta produce a tax report?

No — not for any jurisdiction. PRO+ adds gains reporting with realised and unrealised gains, cost basis and an export, and any tier can export transactions to CSV, but the filing itself still happens in a tax package that reads that file.
