TraderSync
Options-first trade journal - multi-leg spreads classified on import, replay to 250ms.
Last updated
What it is
A hosted trade journal: it pulls fills from your broker, groups them into trades, and reports on them - win rate, MFE/MAE, exit efficiency, R multiples, and whatever setup and mistake tags you define. The differentiator is options. Multi-leg fills go through spread detection on import, so a vertical or an iron condor arrives as one position rather than four orphan legs, expiry is tracked, and reports cut by strike, expiration and spread type. That is on every tier.
Beside the journal sit a market-replay simulator - historical playback down to 250ms, with Level II and time and sales on the top tier - and Cypher, an AI assistant that reads your own history for patterns and plan adherence rather than telling you what to buy.
Pricing
Pro $29.95, Premium $49.95, Elite $79.95 a month; the page opens on annual billing, 25% cheaper at $269.52, $449.52 and $719.52 a year. Imports are unlimited on every tier. Going up buys accounts, strategy plans, Cypher messages a day (5 / 15 / 60), replay precision (1-minute / 1-second / 250ms) and, on Elite only, Cypher Coach, the automated rule-based backtester and the market widgets: Level II, time and sales, key stats, watchlist, screeners, options chain. The account allowance contradicts itself on that one page: the plan cards and the comparison table's own cells both say Premium and Elite are unlimited, while the tooltip attached to the comparison table's Accounts row says 20 and 50.
Data & coverage
TraderSync carries no market data of its own for journaling - every figure is computed from the fills you import - so coverage here means the supported-brokers table, which is far more specific than the marketing pages. It lists 498 rows, 491 distinct names with seven entered twice, and tags each row by asset: 200 carry Stocks, 124 Options, 116 Futures, 115 Forex and 39 Crypto. A separate Autosync column is ticked on 76 of them, and its tooltip is the only place the vendor says what the column means - everything without the mark, it says, you must assume is an export-and-upload CSV.
Those 76 are mostly forex brokers, prop-firm dashboards and crypto exchanges: 34 of them carry no asset tag at all and only 17 carry Options. The names a US equity or options trader would look for and find are Charles Schwab / TDA, Interactive Brokers, TradeStation, Tastytrade, Tradier, Alpaca, CenterPoint Securities, NinjaTrader and Tradovate. Fidelity, Robinhood, Webull, E*TRADE, Think or Swim, Vanguard, Merrill Edge, Lightspeed, DAS Trader, Sterling Trader Pro and TradeZero are all listed, all without the Autosync mark.
Integrations
Everything without the Autosync mark is a file you export at the broker and upload, a distinction the marketing pages - which advertise "700+ brokers" - do not make. Several accounts at the same broker have been supported since June 2025. Trades export back out as CSV, though the support article warns the option may not be there on a trial account; there is no public API. The iOS and Android apps carry the journal, analytics and reports on every tier.
Limitations
- No free tier, and all payments are non-refundable with no pro-rated refunds. Seven days is the whole look.
- Spreads are recognised and reported, not priced: no greeks, no implied volatility anywhere.
- Screeners, watchlist, Level II and the options chain are Elite-only, and the screener runs inside replay sessions. This is not a tool for finding trades.
- No live market data of its own. Charts and the simulator run on history, stock replay covers U.S. equity sessions, and the vendor's features page says trade charting is U.S. equities only - journaling itself takes any market.
- The vendor's own pages disagree about replay below Elite. The comparison table ticks Equity Options and Futures Options for all three tiers in both its Trade Replay and its Market Replay section, and ticks Trade Replay itself for Pro; the Pro and Premium plan cards list replay assets as stocks, futures, crypto and forex, and the Pro card marks Trade Replay unavailable. Treat options replay below Elite as unconfirmed.
- The public What's New page lists nothing newer than 9 July 2025, which is not a liveness signal here: the iOS app shipped a rebuilt 5.0 on 8 September 2026 and Android was updated on 9 September.
Alternatives

FAQ
Does TraderSync have a free plan?
No. There are three paid tiers - Pro at $29.95, Premium at $49.95 and Elite at $79.95 a month as of 14 September 2026 - and a 7-day trial. The vendor's billing policy states that all payments are non-refundable and that it offers no pro-rated refunds, so the trial is the only free look.
Which brokers sync automatically, and which are CSV only?
76 of the 491 distinct names on the supported-brokers table carry the Autosync mark that means a direct connection (the table has 498 rows; seven names are listed twice), among them Interactive Brokers, Charles Schwab/TDA, Tastytrade, TradeStation, Tradovate, MetaTrader 4 and 5, Binance and Coinbase. Fidelity, Robinhood, Webull and E*TRADE are listed but without it, so those are file upload. Only 17 of the 76 also carry the table's Options tag, and 34 carry no asset tag at all.
Does TraderSync treat options as first-class trades?
Mostly. Import runs multi-leg fills through spread detection that classifies verticals, iron condors and custom structures as one position, tracks expiry, and reports by leg, strike, expiration and spread type - on every tier, not as an add-on. Greeks and implied-volatility analytics do not appear anywhere in the vendor's own material.
What is Cypher?
The built-in AI assistant. It reads your own trade history for patterns, plan adherence and performance drift, and answers questions about your journal. It does not issue buy or sell calls. Daily message caps are 5, 15 and 60 by tier.
