Börsdata
Swedish screener on 20 years of Nordic financials, with 16,000 global companies on Pro.
Best for private investors in Swedish, Norwegian, Danish and Finnish shares who screen on long financial histories and want Excel, Sheets or API access cheaply; not for real-time trading, professional users or a US-first screener.

What it is
Börsdata is a Swedish analysis site for private investors, run by Börsdata Sverige AB since 2009, with Modular Finance as a partner since 2020. Its core is a database of Nordic company reports that Börsdata keys in itself: it downloads each interim and annual report from the company's website, enters it into a standard format and computes ratios from that, including for the smaller Nordic market lists, which the vendor says it covers in full. It counts over 50,000 reports in the system and about 10,000 new ones a year.
The screener is what the site calls its heart. It filters every company by country, industry and instrument, shows up to 30 ratios at a time, sorts and sets minimum and maximum values on each, saves filters and watchlists, and on Pro draws a mini chart of a ratio's history in each cell. Company pages carry income statements, balance sheets, cash flows and ratios over 20 years annually and 10 years quarterly and on a trailing twelve months, an industry comparison, a simple DCF drawn on the price chart, and press releases from MFN for Nordic companies. Charts use a cut-down TradingView library fed with Börsdata's own prices, with 50-plus indicators but no Pine Script.
That depth of report data is why the card is also listed under fundamentals: a Börsdata subscriber spends as long reading one company's twenty years as filtering a list.
Pricing
Three private plans, billed monthly or prepaid. Premium at €10 a month is Nordic only, about 1,700 companies with 10 years of report history and PDF reports going back two years. Pro at €25 adds roughly 16,000 global companies, 20 years of history, S&P Global analyst estimates for about 8,000 of them (added 14 August 2026), and the Excel and Google Sheets add-ins on Nordic data. Pro+ at €59 adds the REST API, global and holdings data in the add-ins, segment reporting, and the Nordic ownership tables — top-20 holders, insider trades, short positions, buybacks and boards.
Monthly subscriptions renew until cancelled, with no refund for a part month. Prepaid six- and twelve-month periods — €59, €149 and €359, or €119, €299 and €699 — end on their own. The terms give a 14-day right of withdrawal. No trial is offered on the price page. Enterprise is mandatory for anyone who uses the data professionally and is quoted on request.
Data & coverage
Premium covers Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark. Pro and above add the US, Canada, the UK, Germany, France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Belgium, the Netherlands, Japan and Australia. Nordic report data is collected by Börsdata; global company data comes from S&P Global, according to the vendor's coverage page, which in an older paragraph still names Refinitiv. Nordic prices are 15 minutes delayed intraday; global companies have no intraday data and are recalculated overnight on the last close. During reporting season the vendor says smaller Nordic companies can lag a few days behind larger ones. Charts also carry indices, commodities and currencies.
Integrations
Screener exports send up to 30 selected ratios for every company to Excel or CSV. Company exports send one company's reports, ratios and end-of-day prices per file, 50 a day on Premium and 200 on Pro. The Excel plug-in is a Windows Excel add-in and the Sheets add-on its Google equivalent; both call the API with your key. The REST API returns JSON, with sample client code on GitHub in C#, Python, PHP, Java and JavaScript, and is licensed for private analysis only: no commercial use, no redistribution, and no widgets or sites that display the data.
Limitations
- The strategies are screens, not tested strategies. Magic Formula, Graham, F-Score and the rest list the companies that pass a rule today; the site offers no backtest of any of them.
- No portfolio tracker. Watchlists only, with no transactions, returns or tax.
- Delayed or end-of-day prices only. Nothing here is real-time, and the export and API carry end-of-day prices.
- The API moved up a tier. Code against the REST API needs Pro+ since February 2025.
- Personal use only. Premium, Pro and Pro+ may not be used for profit or by companies.
- Global coverage is thinner. The vendor notes that smaller global companies with poor data quality may not be shown at all.
Alternatives
Stockopedia screens UK and European shares with a factor rank on each. TIKR and Koyfin carry global financials and estimates. Uncle Stock is a global fundamental screener that, unlike Börsdata, lets you backtest a screen. ShareScope is the UK-first equivalent with a portfolio tool.

FAQ
How much does Börsdata cost?
Premium is €10 a month, Pro €25 and Pro+ €59, read on the price table on 23 October 2026. Each can instead be prepaid for six or twelve months — €119, €299 and €699 for a year — and a prepaid period simply ends, without renewing. Professional users must take Enterprise, which is priced on request.
Does Börsdata Pro include the API?
Only partly. Since 1 February 2025 the REST API for your own code is a Pro+ feature. Pro still gets an API key for the Excel plug-in and the Google Sheets add-on, limited to Nordic companies; global companies and holdings data through those add-ins also need Pro+.
Are Börsdata prices real-time?
No. Intraday prices for Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark are 15 minutes delayed, global companies update overnight on the last close, and the export and API services carry end-of-day prices only. There is no minute-by-minute download.
Can a professional investor use a Premium or Pro subscription?
No. The terms bar professional users and companies with a profit interest from Premium, Pro and Pro+ and refer them to Enterprise, and say a user later classed as professional may be charged the difference back to the start of the subscription.
Are Börsdata's strategies stock recommendations?
They are fixed screens. Magic Formula, Graham, F-Score, Net-Nets, the dividend strategy and the others apply each published rule to Börsdata's data and list the companies that pass it today. The terms say the service contains no purchase recommendations, and the vendor states that it offers no backtests of the strategies.
