Stock Unlock
Global fundamentals, 1-5 stock scores and a DCF whose assumptions you set yourself.

What it is
Stock Unlock is a research platform for fundamental investors, on the web and on iOS and Android. Up to 35 years of income statements, balance sheets, cash flows, KPIs and dividends for 170,000+ stocks and ETFs; a screener with 85+ filters; insider transactions; aggregated news; sell-side consensus passed through as data; and a portfolio tracker that syncs with brokerages through SnapTrade.
Two things are the actual product. The first is Stock Scores — a proprietary 1-5 rating built from a Valuation Score plus six equally weighted fundamental categories (Profitability, Growth, Financial Health, Dividends, Management, Analyst). The valuation half calibrates per stock rather than per industry: statistical tests decide which multiples are reliable for that company, so a REIT is judged on P/FFO and a semiconductor on P/S and P/FCF. Scores recompute through the trading day, and historical scores are point-in-time.
The second is the DCF calculator, and it is what puts this card inside a catalogue that lists software rather than advice. It arrives pre-filled with the company's own history and is then handed over: growth rates, growth decay, the discount rate, the terminal multiple and the 1-10 year projection window are all editable, across any of seven metrics from free cash flow to book value. The fair value belongs to your assumptions. Pro and Unlimited save scenarios and push the result to a watchlist or position as a buy target, with an alert when the price gets there.
Pricing
The pricing page opens on the annual toggle, so the $7.50 and $20 in the big type are annual rates. Month to month it is $9 for Pro and $24 for Unlimited. Tiers separate on history depth and limits, not features: Pro buys 10 years of financials, dividends and historical scores plus an uncapped screener and DCF; Unlimited buys 35 years, unlimited analyst data and unlimited brokerage connections. No trial of a paid plan — a 30-day money-back guarantee instead, with checkout billed in USD, CAD, GBP, EUR, INR and others.
Data & coverage
Financial and market data comes from Finnhub, with segment KPI data from Fiscal.ai; the vendor names both in its terms of service. Roughly 100,000 stocks are scored out of the 170,000+ stocks and ETFs on 70+ exchanges, from NYSE and NASDAQ through TSX, LSE, XETRA, Euronext, SIX, OMX Nordic, Tokyo, Hong Kong and ASX. Prices show in each stock's native currency; portfolios convert to a display currency automatically.
Integrations
SnapTrade connects 30+ brokerages worldwide, read-only — Interactive Brokers, Questrade, Wealthsimple and Degiro among them. Pro allows one connection, Unlimited any number. Holdings can also be imported from CSV or entered by hand.
Limitations
- No API, no webhooks, no spreadsheet add-in, no MCP server, and no export documented anywhere on the vendor's feature pages or plan comparison. CSV only goes inwards, for portfolio import.
- Coverage depth is not flat across the 70+ exchanges. The vendor says the UK, Germany, Japan and Canada are comparable to US securities, that smaller exchanges get partial scores, and that some securities get no valuation rating at all — so a thinly covered non-US ticker shows fewer filled panels than the headline implies. Price timing splits the same way: US near real-time, many international exchanges end-of-day, no delay figure published.
- The free tier's limits are mostly the word "Limited" with no number behind it, the DCF calculator included. Only 3 screener searches a week and 2 years of analyst data are in units.
- No filings, transcripts or 10-K text — a numbers platform, not a documents one.
- No strategy backtesting. "35 years of backtesting" on the marketing pages means replaying what a stock scored at a past date, not testing a rule against prices.
- Stocks and ETFs only. No options, futures or crypto.
Alternatives
Stock Rover is deeper on metrics and screening and stops at North America. Koyfin covers international listings in a terminal-style layout for several times the price. Simply Wall St aims at the same audience but sells its own verdict on a company rather than a model you drive, which is why it is not in this catalogue. The rest of the field is in fundamentals and research platforms.

FAQ
Does Stock Unlock hand you a fair value, or do you calculate it?
You calculate it. The DCF calculator is pre-filled with the company's own history, and then growth rates, growth decay, the discount rate, the terminal multiple and the 1-10 year projection window are all yours to change, over any of seven metrics — free cash flow, operating cash flow, net income, operating income, EBIT, EBITDA or book value. The fair value and the buy target are outputs of your assumptions. Separately, the vendor does publish its own 1-5 Stock Score and Valuation Score on roughly 100,000 stocks, and states these are informational rather than buy or sell signals.
What does the free Stock Unlock plan actually give you?
Unlimited watchlists, 2 manual portfolios, unlimited insider data, 2 years of analyst data and 3 screener searches a week. Everything else on the free row of the plan comparison — financial data, dividend data, historical scores, free-form graphing, Stock Insight Scores and the DCF calculator — is labelled Limited with no number attached. A free account can also connect one brokerage for 15 days, after which the holdings stay visible but stop updating.
Is non-US coverage as good as the 70+ exchanges headline suggests?
Not uniformly. The vendor says the UK, Germany, Japan and Canada are comparable to US securities, that coverage depth varies by exchange with smaller ones getting partial scores, and that not every security gets a valuation rating at all. Price timing differs too — US exchanges update near real-time while many international exchanges are end-of-day.
Can you get data out of Stock Unlock?
Nothing on the vendor's feature pages or in the plan comparison describes an export, an API or a spreadsheet add-in. CSV works in the other direction, for importing portfolio holdings from a brokerage the SnapTrade integration does not cover.
